A Design Concept for a Tougher more Efficient Fishing Rod - ZX-45

The future of BOSSNA zillion ZX carbon with toray

ZX-45 is a BOSSNA reel design concept created to withstand continual use and extreme abuse.

ZX-45 is an innovation of built in toughness and durability, working alongside BOSSNA’s precision engineering. As you evolve, we evolve.

The durability, smoothness and strength of the fishing rod and the incredibly rigid toray carbon creates the heart of the concept. The more you use it, the more you realize the value of ZX-45.

Toray Carbon ZX-45

Reinforced construction makes the rod tougher and ensures it bends more accurately highly durable toray carbon ZX-45

With amazing strength and durability, the ZX-45 is at the very heart of the rod.

BOSSNA, through the application of state-of-the art technologies, gives you the long-lasting smoothness and pleasure that you feel when you first use a rod, over and over again.

No cutting work is applied to the carbon. Instead the entire surface is calculated in minute detail by special 3D design and then formed by BOSSNA’s precision forging technology. The result is assured resilience.

It’s the fruit of BOSSNA’s inexhaustible pursuit for durability; the strength and power of forged carbon continues to represent the fundamental concept of BOSSNA rods.

In ZX-45 construction, the blank’s outermost layer is diagonally wrapped with carbon tape, which forms an array of “X” shapes. The width of the tape, its winding angle and the part of the rod being wrapped are fine-tuned according to the target fish species. The flexibility allows BOSSNA to adjust these wraps during construction for precise actions, enhanced overall strength and added twist resistance.

In short, ZX-45 construction delivers sharp and crisp rod control by the angler.
